Paleontologists have made a surprising discovery while searching through 100-year-old fossil collections from the UK – a new mystery species of pterosaur, unlike anything seen before. Lead author of the project, University of Portsmouth PhD student Roy Smith, discovered the mystery creature amongst fossil collections housed in the Sedgwick Museum of Cambridge and the Booth Museum at Brighton that were assembled when phosphate mining was at its peak in the English Fens between 1851 and 1900. These fossils found while workmen were digging phosphate nodules were frequently sold to earn a little bit of extra money. It was while Smith was examining…

New information brought to light that Marvel Studios’ first on-screen lesbian kiss was cut from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel Studios, and in turn the MCU, has become more and progressive over the past few years, and Black Panther 2 was a direct result of that effort. Much to the dismay of some, Marvel’s super-powered franchise is more inclusive than it ever has been. The MCU has even been awarded for its on-screen representation, as it introduces heroes of diverse backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. However, it seems as though the studio may have nixed one recent opportunity for an on-screen first that was…

The comic book movie universe has for a long time been specially equipped with a swarm of writers, concept artists, producers, and creative executives who work in tandem to bring their vision of villains and superheroes onto the screen. Often, those visions get muddied in the enormity and scale of the project. MCU’s Captain Marvel suffered a similar fate at the hands of the CBM franchise and the audience was, suffice it to say, more than disappointed in the cinematic rendition of the intergalactic superhero. Joe Rogan, the “casual” Marvel fanboy has weighed in on the concepts that have rallied…

Temporologists around the world come across dozens and hundreds of evidence of spontaneous time travel. So far, no one has managed to travel through the timeline intentionally. Stephen Hawking, being one of the largest theoretical physicists, rejected the possibility of time travel, but in 2012 he abruptly changed his mind to the opposite. Modern science is increasingly asking the question: Is time static or not? They have been trying to answer it for decades, but so far in vain. Various settings allow you to slow down the passage of time or speed it up by a fraction of a second.…

In July 1947 ranch foreman W.W. Brazel found a strange object in the town of Roswell, New Mexico. It was described as a ‘flying disc’ of shiny material scattered over some of his land. Brazel handed the wreckage to the town’s sheriff who escalated it to the US Air Force. The finding sparked huge interest around the world and put Roswell in the spotlight for UFO hunters who believed it was a sign that aliens had visited Earth. 50 years later, the US Air Force released a 231-page report about the claims that the object belonged to extraterrestrials. The report stated its objective was to…

UFOs have left people with burns, ‘time suspension’ and brain damage, according to a newly released report from the Pentagon. It comes after the now-defunct Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) released documents as part of a Freedom of Information Act request from 2017. The existence of the AATIP was revealed by whistleblower and former head of the program Luis Elizondo in 2017, reports the Daily Mail. It operated from 2007 to 2012. US intelligence officials had been holding onto evidence that UFO sightings have led to unexplainable health effects, including paralysis, electric shocks and even ‘ permanent healing.’ The study, from 2010, pooled…

This python’s jaw has a stretchy secret to gape impressively wide The invasive Burmese pythons slithering through the Florida Everglades eat almost anything they can get their jaws around—and that’s a lot. As their numbers have risen, small mammal populations have plummeted. But larger animals aren’t safe either; people have spotted these pythons swallowing alligators and white-tailed deer whole. How does a snake with a mouth a few inches wide devour something that huge? Answer: They open their mouths very wide, with the help of some newly measured stretching power. A recent study shows Burmese python mouths can stretch four…

Rodney Cluff believes that he has unraveled the phenomenon of the appearance of aliens on our planet and other space objects. The fact is that, according to the expert, humanity proceeds from an erroneous concept of the structure of the Earth. In his opinion, the outer shell of our planet is about half of the total size. Then comes a huge hollow space where alien cities, bases, entire countries can be located. Next comes a cobweb of a substance that allows you to restrain the thermonuclear processes of the planet’s core. The core itself is a real star – a…

We understand what the Fermi paradox is and how scientists explain that there are at least 300 million habitable planets in our galaxy, but we have not yet found evidence of intelligent life outside the Earth. Over time, any civilization is able to achieve the technology needed for interstellar flight. At the same time, humanity has never encountered alien creatures. These three inexplicable facts are united by the Fermi paradox. We talk about it and try to understand why we are still not familiar with hypothetical neighbors in the galaxy. Fermi wonders In the summer of 1950, four scientists from the Los…

The greatest evidence yet for an alien signal emanating from space has been discovered by a group of astronomers from a scientific research looking for extraterrestrial life, including the late Stephen Hawking. Researchers have detected a “intriguing radio signal” coming from Proxima Centauri, the sun’s nearest neighboring solar system, which is only 4.2 light-years away. The transmission was successfully received. A team of researchers from Breakthrough Listen is “seriously studying” a mysterious radio signal from Proxima Centauri, our nearest star neighbor. According to The Guardian, the signal occurred in a limited spectrum of frequencies about 980 megahertz with relatively minimal…

The human species’ inescapable goal to spread over the cosmos is to travel faster than the speed of light. When compared to the vastness of the universe, light moves incredibly slowly: a ship moving at the speed of light would take more than four years to reach the nearest stars, and 25,000 years to reach the nearest galaxy, Canis Major Dwarf. Civilizations without the technological capability to travel through space by enclosing their ship in electromagnetic fields are unable to reach the solar system. Valery Uvarov, Director of the International Information Center for Ufological Research, discussed this with FAN in…

The UFO community found various anomalies after studying dozens of official photos taken during the Apollo 17 lunar trip. During the 12-day mission, the crew captured about 8,400 photographs of the lunar surface, which are now accessible on NASA’s website. Years after the images were made public, UFO researchers discovered unusual objects in some of the pictures that resemble spaceships but whose origins remain unknown. Some individuals think the anomalies are merely reflections or lens flares, but growing evidence swiftly…

Birds are generally pretty harmless. They’ve been genetically wired to just fly away at the earliest sign of danger, so you can pretty much expect to not get attacked by most birds. Flightless birds are another story altogether though. Since they don’t have the luxury of just flying away and leaving you unable to reach them, they’ve had to swap their “flight” to “fight” – literally. And among all of the somewhat aggressive flightless birds, the cassowary is deemed the most dangerous of them all. Let’s take a closer look at this cute fellow. The main reason why cassowary birds…
