Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reportedly wants to raid his former club Ajax again and sign three more of their players.
United have already brought in two new additions in the current January window in the shape of goalkeeper Jack Butland and striker Wout Weghorst, both on loan deals from Crystal Palace and Burnley respectively.
However, Ten Hag is keen to add more, with his old club Ajax once again the main focus of attention.
The Dutchman brought Lisandro Martinez (£48.3m) and Antony (£86m) with him after arriving at Old Trafford last summer.
And now The Sun reports that Ten Hag will return to his routes and try and sign three more Ajax stars.
The first name mentioned is highly-rated centre-back Jurrien Timber, who was linked with United last summer before the Martinez deal was done.
The 21-year-old has spent his entire career at Ajax, having progressed through the club’s youth academy. He also currently has 14 caps for the Netherlands to his name, despite his tender age.
Timber is known for his ability to play in either a back three or back four and his potential arrival would surely signal the end for Harry Maguire.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag is also keen on right-back Devyne Rensch, who has also impressed in 20 appearances this term.
Like Timber, the talented 19-year-old also came through the ranks and was first capped by the Netherlands in 2021.
And finally, 20-year-old central midfielder Kenneth Taylor is also on his old bosses’ radar.
Taylor has scored five goals and added three assists in 14 Eredivisie games this season. He is also another already capped by his country.
United boss still searching for another forward
Ten Hag is also known to want another attacker on board, especially this month, after Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit.
Reports on Sunday suggest that United and Arsenal are both monitoring Real Betis winger Luis Henrique.
The Brazil Under-21 international has had an impressive campaign with Betis so far and is highly thought of in Spain.

Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho now has three reasons to sign new Old Trafford contract
Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho is the talk of Old Trafford amid his impressive form.
Manchester United have seen Alejandro Garnacho enjoy a rapid rise to prominence. And with the Red Devils hoping to tie the forward down to a new contract, the Argentine now has three reasons to put pen to paper on an extension. The 18-year-old was impressive off the bench against Manchester City on Saturday, providing the assist for Marcus Rashford’s dramatic late winner at Old Trafford.
Garnacho was given his debut by United last season by Ralf Rangnick.
He then proceeded to fire the club to FA Youth Cup glory, scoring twice in the 3-1 final victory over Nottingham Forest.
At the start of the season, Garnacho found game time at United tough to come by.
But he’s since won the trust of Erik ten Hag and, on Saturday, provided the assist for Rashford’s late winner against City at Old Trafford.

United are flying again
For years, United have drifted into mediocrity.
Bar a couple of trophies under Jose Mourinho, they have never scaled the same dizzying heights as they used to under Sir Alex Ferguson.
But United are now a team on their way back, as their stirring 3-1 win over City shows.
The Red Devils have won 12 of their last 13 matches across all competitions, playing some swashbuckling stuff along the way.
There’s a genuine feeling at United that their time in the wilderness is coming to a close and Garnacho will undoubtedly want to be part of what’s to come further down the line.
