Zlatan Ibrahimovic has apparently been taking barber tips from Erling Haaland after sporting braids on the beach while on holiday.
The AC Milan star is currently in Florida with his wife, Helena Seger, and their two sons Maximilian and Vincent and has abandoned his iconic ponytail.
Instead, the Swede went with the bold choice of donning braids at the age of 41 while he still looks in shipshape condition.
It comes just months after Manchester City ace Haaland sported the same look while on a beach holiday soon after his Etihad transfer was confirmed.
Fans have drawn comparisons between the two in terms of playing style as two strikers with incredible physiques and a penchant for scoring goals for fun.
And they now even look alike – though Haaland has since returned to his usual barnet with his blonde hair tied back.
Ibrahimovic has not played this season at AC Milan after undergoing knee surgery last year but that did not stop him from enjoying a kickabout and a dip in the sea in Miami.
Nevertheless, his injury condition has many worried that his career might come to an end in unceremonious fashion as there is only a small chance of him playing this season.
The veteran striker’s contract expires at AC Milan runs out in the summer but Ibrahimovic is not giving up yet and has high hopes of returning to action as early as next month.
The first knockout round of the Champions League has been targeted by Ibrahimovic as his return date when Milan face Tottenham.
The Malmo-born star proved pivotal to the Rossoneri last season after scoring eight in 23 Serie A appearances to hand them their first Scudetto since 2011 – coincidentally when the forward was at the club in his first spell.
AC Milan could do with Ibrahimovic’s services sooner rather than later as they look to defend their title but are currently five points behind top-placed Napoli.
Meanwhile, Haaland continued to dominate the Premier League in his first season at City and already has 21 goals in 16 appearances.
The 22-year-old was most stifled by Chelsea after failing to get on the scoresheet – just the fourth time a team has managed to do so this season in the league – but Pep Guardiola’s men still emerged victorious.
City are chasing down Arsenal for a fifth Premier League title in six years but find themselves five points behind the Gunners.
