Gorgeous actress Margot Robbie was seen crossing the road with a sandwich in her hand.
Look hue’s back! Dazzling Margot Robbie returns as motley supervillain Harley Quinn and instantly stops traffic by holding up…a sandwich.
The Aussie actress, 28, was a riot of colour in frayed pinstripe hotpants, pink croptop, shredded waste paper sleeves, mismatched blinging ankle boots and fake thigh tattoos – and with her pink, green and blonde hair in bunches.
Oscar-nominated for I, Tonya and Mary Queen of Scots, Margot was filming new blockbuster Suicide Squad spin-off Birds of Prey in downtown Los Angeles.
Sadly, the script called for Harley to throw her lunch in the gutter – a crime in California.
Maybe she’ll end up in prism.
Eagle-eyed fans were also quick to speculate on the meaning of Harley’s tattoos after seeing the photographs.
Her leg tattoo shows ‘Puddin’ – Harley’s pet name for The Joker – crossed out.
At the end of the first Suicide Squad film the pair were shown still very much in love, with The Joke breaking Harley out of prison.
But the ink hints that the couple could have parted ways in Birds of Prey.
This would fit with the Harley of the comics, which depict the relationship between the pair as abusive, with Quinn eventually breaking free.
But fans will have to find out what really happens when the film is released next year.
Birds of Prey also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as The Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya.
Quinn and the heroines are set to take on the villainous crime lord Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and his ally Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina).
It has been rumoured that the film will be the first in a new Harley Quinn trilogy, that will continue with a Gotham City Sirens film featuring the characters of Catwoman and Poison Ivy.
Robbie is also expected to star in a Suicide Squad sequel and a Joker/Harley Quinn film alongside Jared Leto.
The film is directed by Cathy Yan, director of Dead Pigs, and is also produced by Robbie herself.
