There is always a thrill to watch actors perform their stunts. When it comes to Tom Cruise, it seems that the dedicated actor has no fear whatsoever. With each new installment to the Mission Impossible series, the stunts seem to get bigger and bigger with an increasing level of perilousness. Cruise’s co-star Vanessa Kirby has made an astonishing revelation, as the seventh installment of the franchise will soon be coming to the big screen.
Tom Cruise is a perfectionist when it comes to stunts
From hanging by a rappel to hanging off a cliff with one hand, there truly is no stunt impossible for the M.I. star. Tom Cruise often performs a stunt multiple times for the perfect shot despite the director’s protest. And this time it is a motorcycle stunt for Mission: Impossible 7.

It is always fun to watch co-stars perform their own stunts. But for Vanessa Kirby, it was nothing short of a frightening experience to watch her co-star, Tom Cruise perform his motorcycle stunt multiple times for the eighth installment of the franchise.
“He did it many times in one day. He did it consecutively … and repeatedly so he could capture all the different angles and sides of it. He was just so calm. He had no fear. He just found it exhilarating. That kind of belief in cinema and what one could achieve and his passion for it is so inspiring. He kind of believes he can do the impossible and then he does…I love being a part of the franchise. I’m really excited to come back.”
Kirby made this surprising disclosure about the scene shot in Iceland, which involves Cruise parachuting off of a motorcycle after ridding it off a cliff. While many actors in their 60s might stop performing their own stunts, Cruise seems to have no plans to slow down any time soon. Fans can surely expect the 7th and 8th installments to be as heart-pounding as the previous ones.
