Information about the private life of goalkeeper Keylor Navas and two sisters has been illegally monitored by at least 24 police in Costa Rica for a long time.

Four days ago, Real Madrid’s goalkeeper received the title of the best goalkeeper in La Liga last season. But Keylor Navas’ joy could not be complete when he recently discovered that his private life information and personal history and two sisters, Keilyn and Kimberly Navas, had been illegally violated.

According to Francisco Segura, director of the Costa Rican Judicial Investigation Agency, at a press conference with reporters, out of 51 illegal queries on the personal information database, 42 were followed.

In the police records, Navas was not under any suspicion to be allowed to spy on him. Any police and prosecutors who illegally infiltrate the personal data of this goalkeeper will be prosecuted according to the law,” Segura emphasized. With an excellent performance at the last World Cup in a Costa Rica shirt, Navas caught the eye of Real Madrid. He moved to the Bernabeu for 10 million euros with a salary of up to 2 million euros per season.

That is considered a huge reward for a Costa Rican goalkeeper. Of course, he and his family also became the object of attention of the people of this country.  The Costa Rican goalkeeper shone in the last World Cup Therefore, it is not excluded that Navas was secretly tracked due to the plot of the kidnappers for ransom.

Another theory predicted by the media is that these illegal police officers sold the goalkeeper’s information to criminal organizations, who often kidnap and transport drugs. The judicial investigation agency affirmed that the above cases will be expelled from the industry, even with additional investigation when necessary. The prosecutor’s office also confirmed that it will take the highest form of discipline for its four public prosecutors.
