Dwayne Johnson is one of, if not, the biggest stars in the sports and Hollywood industry. But his road to success was not easy. In fact, when he was younger, he and his mom were evicted from Hawaii. During his difficult time, one person was there to help him and he was Harvey Wippleman.
Johnson has also repaid Bruno’s kindness in his own way. Just a few days ago, during an interview, the latter shared an incident with the world that lets us know how much both of the stars mean to each other.
Harvey Wippleman confesses that Dwayne Johnson changed his life
Speaking on Wrestling Then and Now, Wippleman mentioned though DJ has become a top star now, he hasn’t forgotten his old friend. He said, “He’s the biggest star in Hollywood. And he remembers my little walls.”
“He’s one of the five people in this world I would literally die for, you know? We’ve been best friends since — Christ, I don’t know, 40 years? Like I said, I’m the worst about that. I don’t remember what I had for breakfast. But he’s a guy that was just since he was like 13, 14 years old. We were best friends,” he added.
If a ‘true friendship’ had a face, then it would definitely be that of Dwayne Johnson and the Mississippi-born star. The two prove that no matter what the circumstances bring forward, best friends always stick together to help each other out when in need.
