Acrylic nails are commonplace to give your digits some extra length, but girls who walked the Faustine Steinmetz at London Fashion Week seemed to have more than they could handle.
Long, curled over talons painted a shade of warm brown and adorned every finger – including the thumb.
And not just a straight nail, the acrylics are twisted and contorted with varying lengths applied to each nail.
Want the look? We recommend stopping cutting your nails now, and by next fashion week they may be long enough.

Across the pond models were spotted sporting equally zany nail art, with Libertine girls spied wearing what resembled a floral design on their fingers.
Seemingly made from buttons and hairbands, the quirky design – in varying shades of yellow – appeared stuck onto a darker base shade.
Want the look? Get the glue gun out and raid your cupboards for buttons and hairbands, then stick on liberally. Don’t forget your base coat.

Disney has been a source of inspiration for generations, from wedding dresses to birthday party themes.
And now there are trendsetting nail designs too. Models at Mansur Gavriel show, also in New York, were seen with long tapered talons.
Nothing too fancy there, but each nail was adorned with a Disney character from Cinderella to Pinocchio.
Want the look? For accuracy we recommend printing off Disney characters on pieces of cardboard and then gluing that onto your nails.
The latest look to rock London Fashion Week came from Gareth Pugh’s Autumn/Winter 2018 show.
Among his six nail designs one in particular caught our eye – and it’s because it had a hole in it.
Filing black-painted acrylics into a sharp point, a perfect hole was then punched in the end.

The ‘punctured tip’ looks was created for models by Marian Newman, who told Stylist all the feisty looks were: “A mix of sculpted textures, sharp shapes, punctured tips and animal prints.”
Want the look? This can be easily recreated by popping down to WHSmiths and buying a hole punch to create a perfect circle in some fake nails.
If you’re really daring you can use your own nails, and to accessorise try putting an earring in one.
This woman created a miniature Kylie Jenner on her nail is another extreme nail art example.
And photos can be soon be printed onto your nails with this device.
A nail trend sweeping the internet saw hair and fur stuck on the end on talons.
