Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky were spotted stopping for lunch and then going on a walk in the Tribeca neighborhood in Downtown Manhattan on Friday.
The actor, 39, and his other half, 46, who will be soon be celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary, were spotted holding hands just as they were leaving a restaurant.
It comes after Hemsworth, who is currently in New York promoting his new National Geographic show Limitless, shared that he’s genetically pre-disposed to develop Alzheimer’s disease.

Hemsworth opted for casual but stylish in brown sweatpants with a matching hooded jacket and white sneakers.
Hoping for a bit of anonymity, the Aussie star also sported a black baseball cap and dark Ray-Ban sunglasses while out in the public.
Pataky stepped out with her husband in black skinny jeans and black jacket over a white and black striped sweater.
The mother of three also donned a pair of white and black running sneakers and dark sunglasses for their afternoon excursion.

Rounding out her overall look, the actress, who hails from Madrid, Spain, had her dirty blonde tresses styled long down over her shoulders with a part in the middle.
After enjoying some good conversation over lunch, Hemsworth and Pataky went out on a sight-seeing walk together through the Tribeca neighborhood.
At one point on Friday, Pataky took to her Instagram page to promote Limitless With Chris Hemsworth by sharing the trailer for the show.

The previous day the star of the show posted a photo of the Limitless team during a promotional event at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

For the show, Hemsworth explores methods to age slower and better, and to live a healthy, fulfilling life. But along the way he found out he’s ‘eight to 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease,’ as reported by CNN, which in turns has forced him to reflect on death and his own mortality.
‘It’s not a pre-deterministic gene, but it is a strong indication,’ he said. ‘Ten years ago, I think it was more thought of as determinant.’ Basically, Hemsworth’s genetic makeup includes two copies of the APOE4 gene – one from his mother and another from his father. This combination reportedly leads to an increased Alzheimer’s risk.

The discovery prompted him to take a break from his busy acting career once his promotional commitments are finished this week.
‘It really triggered something in me to want to take some time off,’ Hemsworth added, which he will fill by spending quality time with his wife and three kids.
