Dwayne Johnson is one of the richest Hollywood actors. As per Celebrity Net Worth, he is $800 million wealthy. Apart from acting in films, the star also has his tequila brand and is associated with clothing brands, football leagues, and energy drinks. Due to his wealth, The Rock enjoys a lavish lifestyle. One vehicle that’s representative of his massive bank account is his Gulfstream G650 jet which will make anyone drool. Also, it is one of the fastest in the world.

Dwayne Johnson is a busy man. He has to fly all over the world for his movie shoots and other professional commitments. As such, a fast plane was his need of the hour and the Gulfstream G650 jet fits the bill. In a 2014 Twitter post, Dwayne Johnson posed in front of the plane and called it the fastest in the world, but as per Auto Evolution, the plane lost that status before 2021.

Here’s the Twitter post by The Rock:
Even though the plane isn’t the fastest in the world, it’s nonetheless a fast one and can fulfill The Rock’s business travel needs. As per Auto Evolution, the Gulfstream G650 has these stats:
“It comes with two Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, and it flies at a maximum speed of Mach 0.925 (1,142 kph), having a long-range cruise of Mach 0.85 (904 kph). All these figures make it a top choice for business travels.”
The private jet also didn’t come cheap and it’s estimated that the Gulfstream G650 cost Johnson anywhere from $39 million (for a used one) to $65 million (brand new). It can comfortably seat 19 passengers and allow 10 people to sleep. However, after getting ousted from DC and the Fast and Furious franchise, The Rock will probably be losing sleep a little, especially over the allegations of him deliberately tanking the former superhero franchise due to his ego.
Did Dwayne Johnson Sabotage Black Adam And Shazam 2?
Dwayne Johnson in Black Adam
As per The Wrap, Dwayne Johnson allegedly prevented characters from Black Adam to appear in a post-credit scene for Shazam 2. The site reported that the star also publically hyped up a confrontation between his character and Henry Cavill’s Superman more than with Zachary Levi’s hero, who is the actual adversary of Black Adam in the comics. The outlet stated:
“Johnson did plenty of work in public to undermine “Shazam,” chiefly by promoting a face-off between Black Adam and Superman instead of the more canonical link between the hero Zachary Levi played and the former pro wrestler’s own character. Privately, he vetoed a planned post-credits scene in “Black Adam,” which would have seen Shazam recruited by Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, and other costumed heroes, into the Justice Society of America.”
The Wrap quoted insiders who disparaged Johnson for putting his brand first and not the film or franchise. The site said:
“Dwayne tries to sell himself as bigger than the movie. He’s one of the few people who always thinks he’s the most important person in any situation or room… Instead of making a movie, he wants to extend his brand and make a brand centered on himself.”
Ultimately in trying to prevent an association between the characters of Black Adam and Shazam, he tanked both the franchises and harmed the DC brand. It remains to be seen if DC Studios will invite him back or not.
Black Adam is streaming on HBO Max, and Shazam 2 is in theaters.
