Sanji is being set up to fight one of the Seraphims, S-Shark.
One Piece chapter 1077 set up an incredible clash between Sanji and one of the Seraphims, S-Shark. In the previous chapters, fans saw Seraphims S-bear and S-hawk being pit up against the alliance of the Straw Hat Pirates and CP0. Luffy and Lucci were teaming up against S-Bear while Zoro and Kaku were timing up against S-hawk.
In the recent chapter, fans saw S-shark attack Nami, which prompted Sanji to jump to her defense immediately. Sanji delivered a powerful blow to S-Shark, sending him flying in the process. The fact that S-Shark was about to injure Nami infuriated the Cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and saw him tap into his strongest powers right from the get-go.
Sanji Vs. S-Shark Setup
Sanji versus S-Shark was set up quite early into the arc. S-shark made his debut in the arc when he attacked Nami and this led Sanji to jump to her defense, infuriated at the fact that she was attacked. He hit S-Shark with a powerful technique, sending him flying. The conflict would have escalated had the Vegapunk bodies not interrupted and de-escalated the situation. Now, however, the Seraphims have all been mobilized to act against the Straw Hat Pirates with the intent to kill. Nami was attacked by the Fishman Seraphim but was interrupted by Sanji in the previous chapter. Brook had already been dismantled by S-shark, while Edison, one of the Vegapunk bodies was beaten as well.
Nami would certainly have died, however, Sanji was in the right place at the right time, once again. Seeing that S-Shark had now crossed his boundaries twice, Sanji was incredibly angry and declared that he would not let him survive no matter what. As such, the fight between Sanji and the Seraphim is now all set to unfold, with the Straw Hat Pirate ready to go all-out for the first time since the war of Wano Country finished.
This fight is going to be a very interesting one where fans will finally get to see the capabilities of the Seraphims. It must be remembered that the Seraphims were created by Dr. Vegapunk to become the ultimate form of humanity. When the Seraphims are at their peak, they will be the strongest creatures to exist in the world of One Piece, however, right now, they are not at their peaks. They are still mere children and, thus, beating them right now should very well be possible.
That said, they still have the ability to compete at the very highest level, as seen when S-hawk was able to compete against Blackbeard on Amazon Lily. Thus, fans will get to see what S-shark is truly capable of in the following chapters. That said, Sanji is no pushover either. Sanji was recently able to defeat Queen, a man worth 1.32 billion berries and, for him, taking on S-shark should be within the realms of possibilities.
The Conclusion Of The Fight
Given that Sanji tapped into his Germa power in the previous chapter, signified by his eyebrow flipping directions, he is now at his very peak in this fight. This means that he is going to attack the Seraphim of Jinbe relentlessly. Sanji does not know how the Seraphims work and he would need to figure out their weakness first. This implies that even though he will likely launch powerful attacks right from the very beginning, they won’t do much damage, since S-Shark will likely have his flames on. He will need some time to figure out how these flames work. To do that, he will have to go through some trial and error.
Sanji is the smartest fighter in the Monster Trio and will likely figure out their weakness in a short span of time. After that, the battle will play significantly to his advantage. It must be remembered that Sanji has great destructive capability, thanks to the awakening of his latent Germa powers. Attacks such as Ifrit Jambe will surely be enough to damage the Seraphim of Jinbe seriously. Sanji appears to be dead set on getting rid of S-shark and it is highly likely that he will succeed in this endeavor of his. The only way this fight could end in the favor of the Seraphim is if someone interrupts.
Curiously, S-snake is in the building right next to where Sanji is fighting. If she happens to make her way over to him, Sanji and even Nami will immediately be turned to stone. Regardless, the upcoming chapters of One Piece are going to give fans another glimpse of Sanji at his very best and it is certainly going to be incredible to see the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates fight seriously once again.
