Spoilers for Hulk #11 by Marvel Comics
The ultimate test of Hulk’s strength is about to unfold in the Marvel Universe, as the hero will participate in a newly revealed gamma-powered competition, Godball. In a new preview for Hulk #11, the Jade Giant participates in the sport seemingly designed just for Hulks, as his powers are tested as he takes part in the event on Hulk Planet.
In a new preview for Hulk #11 by Ryan Ottley, Marte Garcia, and VC’s Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the new Hulk sport, Godball, is revealed. One of the Gamma-powered monsters shares the rules, which include picking up a giant ball indenting Hulk Planet. As the rules are explained, Monolith, Queen of Hulk Planet, is informed that Hulk’s brain scan revealed it might not be best for him to participate in the event. However, Monolith isn’t worried that the Hulk can’t handle the “game of peace” as the competition begins. The preview ends with Hulk lifting the Godball as several gamma-monsters follow him as he lifts it into the air.

Hulk Planet Worships Hulk As A God
After transforming himself into a starship with Bruce Banner controlling the Hulk from inside his psyche, the Jade Giant has ended up on Hulk Planet, a world where he’s worshipped as a god. As he begins to play Godball and tests his strength and powers, the Queen of Hulk Planet, Monolith, knows that Bruce Banner is about to die – which is likely tied to his deadliest persona, Titan, being unleashed. However, it’s likely Monolith isn’t too upset about the news, as it may mean the Hulk will only exist in his purest Gamma form without Banner’s influence.
While the Queen of Hulks wants the God Ball competition to be peaceful, it appears the sport is about to turn lethal for participants. A new preview teases that the other Hulks are so eager to prove their strength and powers to Banner’s Hulk that it will make the competition deadly. Check out the text preview for Hulk #11 below.
Ryan Ottley both draws AND writes this action-packed page-turner that finds Hulk playing this planet’s favorite sport – the planet-busting GOD BALL! Now that Hulk finds himself at the center of a civilization that worships him, these other Hulks are more than eager to prove their might to their god…even if that means destroying him when the game turns lethal.
The Godball event on Hulk Planet officially begins in Hulk #11, which will feature the competition that is the ultimate test of strength between the Gamma-powered monsters. Will Bruce Banner prove his status as a god in the world in the event, or will other Hulks’ desires to prove their own worth lead to an unexpected result? Readers will find out more when Hulk #11 by Marvel Comics arrives in comic book stores on Wednesday.
