Ricky Bobby’s iconic North Carolina home is on the market for $9.9 million after selling nearly five years ago.
The 12,000 square-foot home featured in the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights starring Will Ferrell is up for grabs in Cornelius, North Carolina.
Several scenes were filmed inside the home, including the famous dinner scene of the film when Ferrell’s character recited the ‘Dear Lord, baby Jesus’ prayer.
The three-story home overlooking Lake Norman has since been partially remodeled since it was last purchased in 2018 for $4 million.
The five bedrooms and six bathrooms home have new features since it was last on the market, including unique chandeliers, renovated kitchens and columns with gold finishings, agent Kandi Lowe told Axios.
The master bedroom features a sauna-like shower and a deck overlooking a lake. A second massive bedroom has the same features.
An entertainment room with a massive couch and a projector is also highlighted on the property. In the same room sits a pool table and a bar.
The current owners had a small prayer room made with pews and a pulpit on the third floor.
A panic room built like a vault was also installed in case of emergencies. The room features a phone line separate from the property’s home phone.
To make travel around the three-story property easier, an elevator was also installed.
Outside the home, new features include an infinity pool and a small gardening area that leads out to two boat docks on the lake.
Despite all the changes, the fireplace where Ferrell’s character recited the beloved prayer still remains.
Aside from the home, Talladega Nights was filmed at Charlotte Motor Speedway and around Lake Norman.
The film earned about 163.4 million at the box office.
