ALEJANDRO GARNACHO has been spotted leaving Old Trafford on crutches.
The youngster suffered an injury against Southampton and was taken off at the end of the game.
Garnacho went down under a heavy tackle from Kyle Walker-Peters and immediately looked in pain.
He received medical attention from the physios and initially played on.
But he broke down minutes later and had to be taken off for Fred having only been brought on in the 73rd minute.
The Argentine wore a protective boot as he left the ground with the assistance of crutches.
It is a blow for Erik ten Hag who will also lose Casemiro for four matches following his straight red card.
The Red Devils boss has been complimentary of the winger in recent weeks after he impressed off the bench.
Ten Hag said: “I think he is doing well, he has an impact on our game, I think he is a threat.
“As a striker, you have to at least be on the scoring list, the assist list, key action list to have the right impact.
“Of course, we expect him also to do the other stuff but the base stuff is also important and if you can’t do the others then you have to do that, so that is your base function.”
Garnacho’s impressive form was rewarded with a new five-year contract worth a reported £50,000-a-week.
