Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to have a busy summer transfer window looking for new signings.

According to Football Insider sources, Liverpool are ready to make a serious attempt to sign Adrien Rabiot. The French midfielder’s contract with Juventus expires in July and is likely to leave on a free transfer.

This could be the first of three new signings to strengthen the German strategist’s midfield this summer. Football Insider believes that acquiring Rabiot for free will ensure Liverpool have more money in the budget to make another blockbuster contract like the case of Jude Bellingham.

As for Rabiot, the 27-year-old midfielder is waiting to see the final results of Juventus this season to make his final decision. He wants to participate in the Champions League next season while Juventus is going through a difficult period when 15 points are deducted because of financial scandals, thereby 12 points behind the top 4.

Meanwhile, Liverpool cannot be sure of its ability to participate in the most prestigious European competition at club level. The ‘Red Brigade’ is not doing well in this season. Although they just won 7-0 against rivals Manchester United , but Liverpool still have a lot of work to do.

Liverpool are in 5th place with a gap of 3 points from the top 4. The Anfield team needs to secure the right to attend the UEFA Champions League, when that will help the team’s reconstruction plan this summer.
