The most beautiful thing in the world is probably the friendship between species. It comes in various kinds and sizes, and it can overcome any obstacle in life. A tiger makes pals with a goat that has been handed to it as living meal. A baby elephant becomes a giraffe’s best friend.
A lion and a baby monkey become buddies. These unselfish and pure ties contribute to making the world a better place. And we, as humans, aspire to have friendships like theirs.
An orphaned baby elephant and an ostrich have a remarkable friendship in this narrative. It can melt the coldest hearts and spread happy vibes to their life. Allow this to assist you if you are looking for anything positive during these uncertain times.
Jotto the newborn elephant and Pea the ostrich are the two strange companions. Jotto was rescued at the age of one month. Because the poor calf fell into the well, he was isolated from the rest of his herd. Fortunately, David Shelldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) discovered him and took him to an elephant nursery in Kenya.
There the orphaned young elephant met Pea, a kind and caring ostrich rescued with her sibling in 2014. Despite the fact that her brother was released into the wild, the daughter remained at the orphanage. She saw herself as an elephant herd member.
The two quickly developed a friendship. In their friend’s hug, they found love and comfort. Both enjoy cuddling with their pal and supporting one another in their grief over the loss of their mothers.
“It’s safe to say orphaned ostrich Pea feels she’s a member of the elephant herd, and tiny Jotto is more than delighted to cuddle with his feathered pal,” DSWT said this week.
