Ever since Mark Ruffalo has taken over as the Hulk, fans have been asking for a day when he’ll be starring in his own standalone movie. Ruffalo elaborated on why the solo movie had been taking so long to come into being and explained as to why it was best for there to not be one.
Mark Ruffalo Explained Why Hulk Still Does Not Have His Solo Movie
Mark Ruffalo is yet to star in a feature film surrounding his character, Bruce Banner. While this is a question that has been asked for a long time, there has been no confirmation as to when he would get his movie or Disney+ series. When the actor had been asked the same, he explained that he had been asked about whether or not he would want a solo movie and how.

“So, Marvel brought me in before we shot this (Thor: Ragnarok) and they said that ‘if you had a standalone Hulk movie, what would it be?’ I said it’d be this and this, this and this happened and it ended like that.” He continued, “and he said, ‘how about we take that and stretch that over the next three movies as your character’s and Hulk’s character arc?’”
To this, the actor told them the kind of movie he would prefer and how he would like to see Hulk and Bruce Banner’s characters evolving. He further elaborated on how he would like to see the movie end. Ruffalo then continued to explain that Marvel decided to take what he wanted and instead of making it a singular movie, they divided it into three different movies.
Mark Ruffalo Disses Universal Studios For Hulk’s Solo Movie
A Hulk standalone movie is a difficult task to achieve, as Universal Studios still has the rights to Hulk’s solo venture. Fans have to wait for Marvel to perhaps one day gain these rights and see Mark Ruffalo’s character being properly explored and understood.
