Yesterday, Italo Nascimento Fernandes and his wife were traveling ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to their house in Bʀᴀᴢɪʟ when they stumbled upon an unexpected sight.
A big snake, possibly an anaconda, was on the side of the road in front of them and appeared to be attempting a ʀɪsᴋy crossing. Fernandes understood he had to assist.
According to Fernandes, they chose to pull over and get out of the car. No signs told the vehicles to stop so that she could cross the road. He witnessed snakes being ran over on highways before, and he considered it to be illegal.
Fernandes began flashing the red light at approaching cars so they wouldn’t ʜɪᴛ the enormous snake, but he wasn’t acting alone. He remarked that many individuals instantly appeared and also assisted.
Fernandes said that it was so lovely. Then the snake went into the woods and left. The biologist Flavio Terassini is grateful to the group for their efforts that day. He estimated the snake to be roughly 10 years old in an interview with G1 Globo.
The snake is fortunate to have survived in a place where traffic fatalities are common. He noted that many people had successfully stopped traffic in order to prevent it from being run over.
