It’s puffer season! That is, if you live in a city like New York. The plushy outerwear style is a must for navigating the cold in Manhattan – just ask Anne Hathaway. This week, the star was spotted out and about in the Big Apple wearing a bold (and fashion-forward) version that retails for over £4,000.
Though you can never go wrong with a simple and sleek black puffer, Hathaway made the case for a colourful, printed style that makes a bigger fashion statement. Her mixed-print floral coat is from 2 Moncler 1952’s collection. The Leviathan Short Down Jacket features graphic prints inspired by archival textiles found in Como, Italy.
To let the coat shine, Hathaway paired it with sleek black pants, black leather lace-up combat boots, and a classic Chanel bag. Her black pageboy cap also fell in with the puffer’s fun, edgy feel – and it totally paid homage to the one she wore as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada. Life imitating art.
