Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan is all set to star in Loki Season 2.
Everything Everywhere All at Once star, and now Golden Globe winner, Ke Huy Quan has revealed that it was Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige himself who asked him to join the MCU. Appearing on the latest episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor revealed that it was Feige who personally called him to see if he would be interested in joining the major comic book movie franchise. As Ke Huy Quan tells it…
“When our movie came out, the first phone call I got was from Kevin Feige. Who graciously asked me if I wanted to join the MCU and I called Jonathan and the gang, and I said, you know what, nobody wants to hire me except Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, The Daniels, and Kevin Feige. It’s been incredible. 2022 is the year I will always remember because it’s one of the happiest years of my life.”
After largely staying away from acting for the decades following his appearance in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Ke Huy Quan made a triumphant return to the big screen in the multiverse hopping action-comedy-drama Everything Everywhere All at Once. Receiving praise from both critics and audiences alike for his performance, Ke Huy Quan has quickly become a Hollywood commodity, with Kevin Feige instantly seeing the star-appeal and requesting his presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Thus, Ke Huy Quan is due to appear in the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, Loki Season 2. While the extent of his role in currently unknown, it has been revealed that he will portray a Time Variance Authority archivist who no doubt assists The God of Mischief on his latest adventure.
All six episodes of Loki Season 2 will be written by Eric Martin, with directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead due to helm most of the episodes. Loki Season 2 is expected to debut on Disney+ in mid-2023 as part of Phase Five of the MCU.

Ke Huy Quan Would Love to Reprise the Role of Short Round in an Indiana Jones SpinoffParamount Pictures
Alongside the well-deserved resurgence in his career, Ke Huy Quan has recently stated that he would love the chance to return to the role of Short Round for a potential Indiana Jones spinoff. “I love the character of Short Round. He’s funny and courageous and saves Indy’s ass,” he said. “If Disney or Lucasfilm ever come to me and say, ‘We want to do a Short Round spin-off’, I’m there man! I love that character so much and it would just be incredible to revisit so many years later.”
Considering his popularity right now, and the fact that Harrison Ford will return from the role of Indy following the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the studio would be foolish not to consider it.
Aside from adding his name to the MCU, Ke Huy Quan has several other projects already in the pipeline. The actor will reunite with Everything Everywhere All at Once co-star Michelle Yeoh in the upcoming television series American Born Chinese, which follows a young man named Jin Wang who, while struggling with his school life and home life, meets the new foreign exchange student at his school, leading him to become involved in a battle between Gods of Chinese mythology.
Ke Huy Quan is also due to star in The Electric State from Avengers: Endgame duo Joe and Anthony Russo, which is due to be released in January 2024, by Netflix.
