According to Le Parisien Kylian Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi will return to Paris Saint-Germain training on Thursday, and will not be involved in the Parisians’ match against Angers on Wednesday evening (21:00). They will, however, be expected to be involved in PSG’s trip to Rennes on Sunday.
The pair, who represented France and Morocco respectively during the 2022 World Cup in December are currently resting following the competition, after immediately returning to action with PSG only a week after the conclusion of the final. Hakimi is also suspended for the match after accumulating too many yellow cards.
Mbappé and Hakimi are well known close friends, and have been spotted in New York during their post-World cup time off. The pair also travelled to Hakimi’s native Marrakesh before shortly returning to Paris to join the rest of the PSG squad in training on Thursday.
Meanwhile Lionel Messi and Neymar trained with the rest of the squad on Tuesday, as the World Cup winner could be set for involvement in Christophe Galtier’s squad.
