One couple had a unique experience with their tour guide. The two stunning cats were rehydrating in the Linyanti Swamp, which is where the Cuando River, which divides N and Bs, has its mouth. The camera moves to the other side of the marsh as the couple drinks, and the tour guide can be heard saying, “That’s a crocodile.”
A crocodile was moving toward the lions, and you could see it scuttling across the water’s surface. In order to prepare for trying to swim across to the other side, the younger cat began to dive deeper into the water. The adult lion’s face shows a watchful look around to make sure there are no predators nearby.
The lions probably wished they had stayed on the shore in this circumstance. The crocodile sped up just as the two cats were ready to approach the water’s edge. The cunning crocodile submerged the newborn lion in a ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ incident.
The older cat fled to defend itself as the younger cat was assaulted. Both cats managed to escape the ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ and find new homes in the marsh with just relatively minor wounds. Animals rarely succeed in escaping a crocodile assault. This simply emphasizes the ferocity of a ғɪɢʜᴛ between two apex predators.
