Summers have arrived and “thande thande paani se nahaana chahiye” becomes our everyday agenda. Indian summers are without a doubt full of hot and sweaty months, and from human beings to animals, everyone suffers.
So, if you crave a cold shower every day during this heat, so do other creatures. In a video that was posted by Indian Forest Service officer, Susanta Nanda, on Twitter, you can witness a sight never seen before.
During the 51-second-long clip, you can see a man bathing a King Cobra by pouring water on it. The reptile moves its head and it is quite evident that it is enjoying its bath. The brave man then pats the snake over its head while he fills up another bucket of water.
The snake turns around and the man pours the water on its head once again while the reptile moves its head rhythmically, approving the bath.
IFS Susanta Nanda captioned the video: ‘Summer time.. And who doesn’t like a nice head bath. Can be dangerous. Please don’t try.’
Making sure everyone takes the last part seriously, such an act should only be carried out by someone who knows what they are doing and should not be tried at home.
Ever since the video was posted on the micro-blogging website, it has been viewed over 135K times and has almost 8K likes. The man in the video has been confirmed by Nanda as Vava Suresh, who is a conversationalist from Kerala.
A lot of people are still finding it hard to believe that a King Cobra, which is one of the most venomous snakes in the world, is being handled by Mr Suresh with such ease. After all, it is because the man knows what he is doing.
