Superman can accomplish all the things that other people can’t, and then some, which is why he has sold the most comic books in history with an astounding 600 million copies sold.
And when Henry Cavill used to fly through the air on the big screen while donning the classic costume and long red cloak, it nearly gave the impression that we were watching the real Superman rather than an actor merely portraying the role.

So when we think about the superstar, we always presume that he would possess all the qualities as well as abilities that the caped crusader possessed, which is a testament to the greatness that Cavill brought with his performance as Superman. While many hardcore fans might try to simulate him fighting other superheroes and/or supervillains, most won’t think of Cavill fighting someone else, but just for curiosity, who would win in a brawl between Henry Cavill and Tom Cruise?
Henry Cavill Would Avoid A Fight With Tom CruiseTom Cruise and Henry Cavill in the infamous “bathroom fight scene” from Mission: Impossible- Fallout
We tend to forget that he isn’t a superhuman, despite the fact that he has occasionally played the part of Superman. In fact, many fans and famous people agree that Henry Cavill is one of the kindest persons you’ll meet in the entertainment world. In addition to his cool and endearing manner, he is a world-class actor who brings the characters he plays to life. Naturally, many were interested in whether he would like to engage in a one-on-one battle, and the leading candidate was none other than Top Gun actor Tom Cruise.
In an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the former The Witcher star was asked about his bathroom fight scenes alongside Cruise in Mission: Impossible- Fallout, where they were discussing his signature arm-reload scene and the stunts that they had to do in the movies, especially along with Cruise. Then, the host asked about who would win in a no-holds-barred street fight amongst them, to which Cavill replied with a witty response as always.
In the interview, he said:
“What we’d probably do is, we’d call in a makeup team, and then we’d cover ourselves in cuts and bruises and have our hair look perfect like we just tussled enough and then stand up and tell a great story about it.”
As expected from the big softball, Cavill would not like to fight with Cruise, who is also one of his great friends. Although it would be more than exciting to see Superman duke it out with Ethan Hunt, it will probably never happen.
he Future Of Mission: Impossible
Even at the age of 60, Tom Cruise isn’t showing signs of slowing down as he gears up to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One, where he’s back again to baffle audiences with action scenes and death-defying stunts that would make even the most seasoned of pros back out. And as seen with previous installments, we can expect the fate of the world balanced on Ethan Hunt’s back as the stakes go even higher than before.
