Margot Robbie was left completely stunned after a Good Morning Britiain producer showed her his tattoo of her face on his back at the Amsterdam premiere on Wednesday night.
The 32-year-old actress was lost for words when Ashley Whitt rolled up his top to reveal his Harley Quinn inking, moments after being interviewed by entertainment reporter Richard Arnold on the red carpet.
Of course, Australian star Robbie has portrayed Harley Quinn in three films so far.
She first appeared as the famous character in 2016’s Suicide Squad, before going on to repreise the role for 2020’s Bird’s Of Prey and most recently The Suicide Squad.
Having wrapped up his chat with the Hollywood star, Arnold exclaimed: ‘You can’t miss this Margot.’
Introducing his colleague, he continued: ‘So this is one of my producer Ashley and he is going to show you something and I promise you it’s decent.’
Clearly taken aback by the tattoo, Robbie gasped: ‘No! The whole thing looks incredible.’
After taking a few moments to let the tattoo sink, she then added: ‘That is so cool! I feel like I’m in good company. Thank you.’
Robbie stars as one of the three friends – alongside Christian Bale and John David Washington – in the new historical comedy film Amsterdam.
Loosely based on real events in the 1930s, it follows the trio who witness a murder and become suspects themselves after being framed for it.
Speaking about her time on set, Robbie enthused to PA: ‘It was incredible. There was someone to be excited to act with every single day, not that there normally isn’t but particularly in a film like this.
‘It was quite surreal to do a scene with Bob De Niro or Michael Shannon, whoever. You always wanted to bring your A game.’
She added that her character Valerie was ‘so fun’ to play as she was ‘very dramatic’ which allowed her to use her costumes and styling to express her thoughts and feelings.
