Shortly after Moschino’s autumn/winter show at Milan Fashion Week, it was announced on March 20 that Jeremy Scott, who had been in office for ten years, would step down as creative director! Jeremy Scott has led the Italian luxury brand for a decade since launching the groundbreaking Fall/Winter 2014 collection in October 2013, writing an important chapter with unconstrained creativity and a sense of humor. The Moschino 2014 autumn and winter series is based on the symbol of American culture——McDonald’s. The signature red and yellow tones, employee uniforms, soda cups, children’s lunch boxes and other styling bags make the brand a sensation!
The 2015 autumn and winter series jumps the cartoon characters in Looney Tunes such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester and other characters to clothing, and integrates the design of various sportswear to make the brand younger.
In the 2016 spring and summer show, Jeremy Scott not only added cleaning supplies to the design, but even the famous American cartoon “The Powerpuff Girls” was transformed into clothing and bags.
Moschino’s Autumn/Winter 2016 show was filled with the 15th century renaissance and punk atmosphere. Not only did the models wear large medieval crystal chandeliers, there were even dresses that burst into flames on the spot, which surprised and delighted people!
Jeremy Scott turned the models into an army of paper dolls in the 2017 spring and summer show. Each garment has a white rectangular label for folding the kiosk, and presents accessories, accessories and handbags with flat hand-painting.
The Spring/Summer 2018 collection was led by Jeremy Scott in an interesting and amazing fashion show. The models wore flower dresses that were about to bloom, and also transformed into beautiful giant stick flowers.
The 2019 spring/summer show takes “unfinished” as the concept, giving whimsy to the design process before the fashion show, and making the marker lines on the design draft the main element of this season.
“Let them eat cake!” is a French phrase that is usually said by Marie Antoinette, Queen of France in the 18th century. Therefore, the theme of the 2020 autumn and winter show is this ultra-exaggerated cake skirt that is very eye-catching!
The 2022 autumn and winter show is inspired by the classic sci-fi movie “2001: A Space Odyssey”, borrowing the baroque style room in the movie, turning delicate and exaggerated objects into imposing dresses!
Jeremy Scott uses “inflation” as the theme in the 2023 spring and summer series. He plays with inflatable elements through colorful, exaggerated, bold and humorous designs, and puts inflatable dolphins and white swans on his body!
