Soon after meeting in December 2010 to record a Christmas carol to raise money for children with ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ and their families, Edurne and De Gea began dating.

At the time, he was still playing for Atletico Madrid. Spain’s entry in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest was Edurne.

Edurne and David have been together for more than a decade.
