You are likely familiar with the Amish business community. They are known for their quality products. Amish architecture is exquisite. It is made with love. It is amazing how they pay attention to details. If you’re looking for a house or barn, shed, cabin or garage, then read on to learn why an Amish build is such a great idea!
Details, details, details! They are the key to quality work. The Amish Barn Company is well aware of this. They are located in upstate New York, and have been providing quality work to customers since 2005. The Amish Barn Company can build small dog houses or large horse barns. But not all of us have animals to care for, so let’s take a look at one their structures that could be useful to all. A home! These cabins are great for a weekend getaway, or a full-time residence.
There are many options for cabin styles. I will be focusing on the Board and Batten Cabin, which has a loft! This A frame cabin has a great front porch! First, you’ll notice the beams used to frame the porch and accent the A frame roof. The porch has a single beam running horizontally that connects it to the roof. There are three vertical beams that connect it to the roof. This gives it a warm and subtle resemblance of the sun rising. This detail may be intentional or not, but it can definitely give you a new appreciation for its design. Next, you need to pay attention to the windows. Windows are important because they allow for amazing views and natural light to flood homes. This feature is great because it can be customized to meet the client’s needs. The pictures will show that one home has a small circular window at the second floor and the other two large windows upstairs. It might be fun for this cabin to have a set of double cross braced doors and accent the front porch with a large triangular windows.
It’s hard to not notice the beautiful wood used in this structure. This cabin is a great place to have stain! It will allow you the freedom to change the color of the wood without affecting the grain. The pictures below show two different shades. In order to add more contrast to the cabin, a red color was used in combination with unstained porch beams. You will find a large area inside the cabin with a staircase leading up to the loft area. The interior design is completely customizable to the client. There is plenty of space to customize the space to your needs!
The build may not include other details. The Amish Barn Company works with its customers to make owning a Amish Barn Company structure more affordable. You can see this through their rent-to-own program. They also offer free delivery within a hundred miles of their Oneonta headquarters. It is evident that this company cares about their product and their clients!
