Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe made a promise to Cedric Doumbe, a fighter of Cameroonian origin, for his first MMA fight after signing with the American organization PFL.
The two men chatted through a mutual friend, with Mbappe calling Doumbe via FaceTime.
“I don’t know anything about MMA and UFC, but I’ll get up at five in the morning for you,” Mbappe told Doumbe, as the latter revealed in an interview for The MMA Hour.
In order to watch Doumbe‘s first fight in the PFL live, one will have to get up early in the morning, as the time difference between Atlanta, where the fight will take place, and Paris is six hours.
Doumbe is a former Glory Welterweight Kickboxing World Champion, being considered one of the best welterweight fighters in the world. He has now decided to embark on his journey in the Professional Fighters League (PFL), a new innovative sports league.
