TOPLESS model and Manchester United fan Ann Mari Olsen had a tricky encounter with four Everton stars that was wrong on many levels.
That’s because, while dressed in full Red Devils’ kit, she bumped into Jordan Pickford and three of his team-mates in an elevator.
Ann Mari Olsen saw Man Utd rise to the occasion after sharing a lift going down with Everton players at their team hotel
The social media star is an Old Trafford season-ticket holder
The Norwegian was staying at the same hotel as the Toffees before their 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford last Saturday.
And as the lift was on its way to the ground floor, England keeper Pickford will hope it’s not an unlucky omen as Everton battle to avoid going down.
Ann Mari revealed her close call with the quartet on Instagram.
The Old Trafford season-ticket holder posted: “The three latest game in the league has been very different. I didn’t know what to expect against Everton, but I was very happily surprised!
“Should have scored at least four more goals.
“A fun fact: I stayed at the same hotel as the Everton team and when I was in the elevator down, it stopped and Pickford and three other players stepped in. And I was of course all dressed in red full United!”
The Toffees’ players might have been less surprised than Ann Mari – at least if they have seen her on social media.
The super-supporter from Oslo regularly shares snaps of her in United gear with 149,000 Instagram followers.
The Norwegian is hoping to wear less to games as summer approaches
And she inked her dedication last summer – with a No7 shirt tattoo in honour of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Unfortunately that mark of love turned out to instead show the art of mistiming – as legend CR7 endured a misfiring start to the season and an undignified exit in November before joining Al-Nassr over New Year.
But Ann Mari is not one of those fans who expect everything to go right, even though Erik Ten Hag is hunting a cup treble.
Having won the EFL Cup, the Red Devils could yet win the FA Cup and Europa League, although Thursday’s crazy 2-2 home draw with Sevilla in the quarter-final first leg dented that last hope.
But when she posted her elevator anecdote this week, the online star included what might not have been a deliberate pun.
She wrote: “As predicted, Ten Hag’s first season has had its ups and downs, and it’s too hard to expect great performances every game. ”
One thing is certain, however, as Ann Mari parades her pics to supporters: she always tries to give them a lift.
