Dogs in distress have been rescued by Mr. Huynh Truc Trung (30 years old, residing in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City). With the belief that “even though they are dogs, they also want to live”, Mr. Trung has treated and provided a new life for hundreds of dogs.
The dog named “Seven” was rescued in Binh Duong. According to Mr. Trung’s account, Seven had wandered off and was hit, causing his jaw to be broken and making it impossible for him to eat.
Mr. Trung rescued the dog and with the help of Dr. Mai Ngoc Tuyen, Seven recovered after one month. Despite being a stray dog, Seven was very obedient and grateful to his rescuers. Currently, Seven is being cared for at the Love and Protection for Dogs and Cats Station.
This is “Be Bao” rescued in Ba Ria – Vung Tau. The reason this dog was named “Be Bao” is because it was rescued at 1am during a stormy night. Be Bao was captured by dog thieves, who tied its mouth with a rope to be slaughtered for meat. However, with luck and determination, Be Bao wanted to live and managed to escape from the slaughterhouse.
“At the time of the rescue, Be Bao was very weak and unable to eat, but after a two-month surgery, its health has been restored. Be Bao bears a deep scar on its nose from the near-death experience. Currently, Be Bao has a new owner who loves and cares for it, making up for the terrible days it went through,” said Mr. Trung.
This is “Thep” – a female dog who escaped from a slaughterhouse in Pleiku.
According to Mr. Trung’s account, Thep was found with many parts of her body severely damaged to the point of exposing the bones. She was sent to Saigon in the hope of finding a chance for survival.
Thanks to her courage, Thep was able to save her litter of puppies and now enjoys a happy and healthy life.
And this is “Linh”, rescued in Ninh Thuan. Linh was captured for slaughter and had her mouth tied shut with a rope for a month. After escaping, she was found with a severely damaged nose, emaciated body, and covered in ant bites.
Linh was “reborn” after being treated for various illnesses.
The dog named “Chi” was saved despite having all of his hind legs destroyed. He was named Chi because he was very brave and had an extraordinary will to live. “No one thought he could survive. During the surgery, Chi only breathed lightly and was very cooperative. After the operation, Chi was also very well-behaved and did not bark as much as other dogs.”
Many people are surprised when seeing the images of the dogs before and after being rescued by Mr. Trung. Not only Linh, Bao, and Thep, but Mr. Huynh Truc Trung also “revived” many other dogs with unfortunate circumstances.
