These One Piece characters pose a true danger to the power balance of the world.
After the events of Wano, the balance in the world of One Piece has shifted drastically. The seas are now known to be the most turbulent they’ve ever been and as the story enters its final saga, the most dangerous characters have started to make their move.
These characters are special as not only do they possess tremendous strength, but their beliefs, ideologies, and actions pose a tremendous threat to the world or the opposing organizations. With One Piece finally edging closer to its conclusion, it is time for these characters to take the stage and give a display of true chaos across the seas all over the world.
10Boa Hancock
Hancock is the captain of the Kuja Pirates and one of the most fearsome characters in One Piece. Much of this is down to her incredible Devil Fruit, the Mero Mero no Mi, which allows her to charm anyone and those who are charmed by her can be petrified by her immediately after. It also allows her to turn inanimate objects into stone using special fruit abilities.
Hancock is also a user of all three Haki types, which is exceedingly rare in the world of One Piece. Her strength is such that a bounty of 1.659 billion berries was given to her after the dissolution of the Shichibukai system. Hancock’s devil fruit is certainly very dangerous and one that even Blackbeard wanted.
9Dracule Mihawk
Dracule Mihawk is the greatest swordsman in the One Piece world and a man with a bounty of 3.590 billion berries on his head. He was once a rival to Red-Hair Shanks, which just goes to show that he is comparable to the Yonko themselves.
Mihawk was not a dangerous character until recently as he mostly just minded his own business, however, now, he is a part of the Cross Guild who are actively hunting the Marines and placing bounties on their heads. As a result, Mihawk is now one of the most fearsome characters in One Piece.
8Sakazuki
Sakazuki is the Fleet Admiral of the Navy currently and also a very battle-hardened fighter. He is the leader of one of the three major powers in the One Piece world and, unlike the previous Fleet Admirals, he is willing to directly oppose the Yonko as has never been done before.
Sakazuki is extremely special and has the power of the Logia type Magu Magu no Mi at his disposal. His strength during Marineford was such that he could put up a fight against an old and dying Whitebeard, and this is no small feat.
7Blackbeard
Blackbeard is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea right now and a man worth 3.9 billion berries. He is the only user of two Devil Fruits in the One Piece world and he continues to hunt for powerful abilities across the oceans. This automatically makes Blackbeard one of the most dangerous men in One Piece.
Along with that, Blackbeard is also a very evil and cunning personality and a person who abides totally by the true pirate code. He is certainly one of the biggest threats that the Navy has ever faced and he’s also a threat to other pirates and common people alike.
6Shanks
Like Blackbeard, Shanks is also a member of the Four Emperors of the Sea. Up until recently, Shanks only played the role of a mediator. As such, even though he is tremendously powerful, he could not truly be considered a dangerous person, however, now, things have changed.
Shanks has directly entered the great game to claim the One Piece after the events of Wano. As such, he is now among the most dangerous men in the story. A display of this was given to the fans very recently in Elbaf, where he clashed against Kid and utterly annihilated his entire crew all by himself.
5Dragon
Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and the man known to be the World’s Worst Criminal. It is quite evident that Dragon is one of the most dangerous men in the One Piece world. He established the Revolutionary Army to become a force capable of taking on the Celestial Dragons at their full strength.
He has powerful fighters under him and they are dangerous enough to declare war on the Celestial Dragons, after invading their own territory. Dragon has only just started making his move and with time, fans will truly get a showing of how dangerous he is.
4Saturn (And Other Elders)
Saturn was recently introduced in One Piece as a member of the Five Elders. In the Egghead Island arc, Saturn was sent to deal with the threat of Vegapunk on a ship led by Admiral Kizaru. Being a member of the Five Elders, Saturn is easily one of the most dangerous men in the world of One Piece as he is, officially, the highest authority in the entire world.
He possesses tremendous power in his hands and even the Admirals are supposed to do as he says. Whether he is a fighter himself or not remains to be seen, however, it doesn’t matter much as the entirety of the World Government and the Navy are just pawns there to serve him. That said, it is extremely likely for him to be a fighter himself as well since another one of the Five Elders possesses possibly one of the greatest swords to ever appear in One Piece. As such, the consensus is that he is a fighter himself as well making him even more dangerous.
3Shirahoshi
Shirahoshi is a character that fans often overlook as one of the most dangerous in the entire world. She is one of the three Ancient Weapons, Poseidon, and her powers recently awakened during the Fishman Island arc. With her abilities, Shirahoshi can control all the Sea Kings and she holds enough power to destroy the entire world of One Piece. With abilities such as hers, she can flatten the entire world with a single command.
Undoubtedly, Shirahoshi is one of the most dangerous characters in the world of One Piece. In the final saga, she is sure to play a major role. In ancient times it was said that a man named Joyboy would eventually help Poseidon to control her powers and use them when the time comes. Poseidon falling in the wrong hands could have meant the destruction of the entire world. Thankfully, she has been kept safe until now and she has also learned to control her powers very well.
2Luffy
The protagonist of One Piece, Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and also one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. He has acquired a bounty of 3 billion berries recently and that just goes to show how far he has come over the years. Luffy is an extremely dangerous pirate, especially to the World Government, and he keeps getting in their way as if he’s destined to do so.
Luffy is also the user of the legendary Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, a Devil Fruit that the World Government was trying to hide. Being Nika means that he is the biggest threat to the World Government at the moment. This was acknowledged by the Government themselves when they were ready to kill Luffy during his fight against Kaido, even if it meant incurring the wrath of the latter. Now that Nika has descended upon the world, he is not going to stop until the Celestial Dragons have been overthrown.
1Imu
Imu is a mysterious character about whom very few things have been revealed so far. Fans know them to be the sovereign of the entire world, ranking even above the Five Elders. Their existence, however, is a secret, and only a handful of characters, such as the Five Elders, know of it. It is entirely possible that Imu is a relic from the times of the Void Century.
They certainly are the most dangerous character in One Piece as in their hands lies the greatest power. They control the likes of the Five Elders as they want, and, what’s more, they also seem to have the power of an Ancient Weapon at their disposal, which they were seen using during the destruction of the Lulusia Kingdom.
