Best friends who found out they were pregnant just weeks apart have now given birth on the same day.
Krista Eberhart took to TikTok to share that she and close pal, Jen, both gave birth to their babies on 11 February, just 19 hours apart. ‘Highly recommend being pregnant with your best friend,’ she captioned the sweet video.
Krista, 26, from Pennsylvania, USA, gave birth to Madelyn after struggling with her fertility for two years. Meanwhile, Jen gave birth to Brady, her second child. Speaking of their matching pregnancies, Krista said: ‘Jen told me on a Monday she was pregnant, and I found out that Wednesday that I was also pregnant.
Video: Best friends bump progress after falling pregnant at the same time
‘We were so excited to be pregnant together.’
And the pair – who met through the firefighter husbands – loved being pregnant together. ‘We really enjoyed being pregnant at the same time. ‘We travelled to Nashville and Myrtle together while pregnant and were so excited for our babies to grow up together.’
Speaking of their now viral video, which has been viewed 3.8million times, Krista said: ‘We wanted to see how our bodies changed together and got the idea to bump bellies, so we started doing it every time we were together and created this video.’
Finally, after nine months of experiencing pregnancy together, both babies arrived on February 11, 2022. And it seems Krista gave birth first, jokingly commenting on her video: ‘We are very competitive people. But I did win.’
Krista explains: ‘Jen was induced, and I went into labour on my own. ‘I think no matter what happens, we will always be friends and our babies will grow up together. ‘Maybe one day they’ll even get married.’
