David Beckham is renowned for his finesse on the football field. That’s where he truly made his mark. But luxury watch connoisseurs also recognize his refined taste as a serious watch collector. From Breitling to Rolex, the famous footballer has sported a multitude of covetable watches. And it’s a collection that would make watchers green with envy.
Interestingly, Beckham’s wife, Victoria Beckham, shares an equal interest in the world of watches, especially Rolex. The power couple have often been spotted twinning in Rolex timepieces. The Rolex Deepsea 44mm (worth around $16,000) is David’s favourite. Victoria’s go-to? The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm steel watch (approximately $7,600).

That collection includes the Tudor Royal as well as the Tudor Black Bay 58 and Chrono S&G.
Beckham came to know Tudor through his love for its sibling brand, Rolex. He owns several Rolex timepieces.
“I was attracted to Tudor by the attention to detail I could see in their watches,” Beckham says. “I then learned about the history of the brand. One of adventure, pioneer diving and daring expeditions. I was instantly hooked.”
“Especially as an Englishman I think you really appreciate a nice suit and a nice watch,” he says. “They go very well together.”

Beckham was once named the greatest pop icon of all time – beating Elvis and Madonna, among others. Fashion icon. Brand builder. Tastemaker. But it was on the soccer pitch where it all began – three major clubs and 115 selections in the English football team, 59 as captain. And he left his mark: 6 England Championship titles, 2 Major League Soccer cups, one time Champion of Spain and one time UEFA Champion.
His philanthropy focuses on the protection and welfare of children worldwide. Beckham is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and malaria foe. He dedicates his energy and time to the health and education of children in Africa.

So with that kind of platform, when Beckham wears a luxury watch out and about people talk about it.
Such is Tudor’s love for the football icon that they custom built the Tudor Pelagos watch for him to include the Inter Miami football club’s logo. Considering he partly owns Inter Miami, this personalized timepiece speaks a thousand words about his influence (and affluence!).

Prior to Tudor, David Beckham represented Swiss brand Breitling. He launched their partnership in 2012 with the Transocean Chronograph Unitime timepiece.
Another luxury watch brand he favours is Jacob & Co, founded by Jacob Arabo in the ‘90s. A rather unusual timepiece from that brand is the Jacob & Co Global 3. The watch comes in a unique pentagon shape. It’s a head-turner, featuring a black case with an 18-carat rose gold bezel. The cost? $11,000 only.
