Maria Guardiola has taken to social media to show off two new bikini snaps – but Manchester City fans are only thinking about silverware.
Pep Guardiola’s men are still in line for a potential treble with FA Cup and Champions League semi-finals on the horizon – with supporters trying to get a message to the boss.
Ahead of their crunch Premier League clash against Arsenal in the week, the Etihad faithful want the manager not to get overwhelmed by the nature of the fixtures.
One follower said: “Tell Pep to win the league.” A second added: “Tell pep to not overthink the semifinal and keep the same lineup.”
Others were simply out to be complimentary, one message read: “Pep creating magic on and off the pitch.”
Another said: “Pep’s best trophy.” A fifth concluded: “THE ONLY PEP GUARDIOLA MASTERCLASS.”
Maria’s post has brought in 65,000 likes in under 24 hours, with the model having 471,000 followers in total thanks in part to her famous family.
The 22-year-old, who was once romantically linked to Dele Alli, moved to England with her family back in 2016 when Guardiola swapped Bayern Munich for City.
Despite winning four of the last five Premier League titles and five domestic cups, this season could be a special one with a historic treble still possible.
The Spaniard said this week: “There are still 11 games to go so we are so far away from talking about that.
“How many times in this amazing country have trebles been done? It’s one.
“The best is if we focus on if we have enough legs for tomorrow to compete against Sheffield United. I am not at all excited about the Treble.”
