It appears the pair do not enjoy a good relationship as daughter reacts to comments made by ex-Chelsea man
ARSENAL great Emmanuel Petit faces being taken to court … by his own DAUGHTER.
The French World Cup winner married actress Agathe de la Fontaine in 2000. They had a daughter, Zoe, but divorced in 2002.

An emotional Petit, 48, told a French TV chat show at the weekend that he missed Zoe after not seeing her in 18 months, and said she refused to meet him.
But the 17-year-old branded the Double-winning former midfielder a “liar” on social media, claiming he said he no longer wanted to see her.
Zoe and mum Agathe have now begun a lawsuit against ex-Chelsea and Barcelona player Petit.
Lawyer Beatrice Uzan said: “We have begun proceedings for defamation, to re-establish the truth in this family matter.

“Everything Emmanuel Petit said on the TV show was pure manipulation.
“He came over as wounded, yet everything is his doing. Neither Agathe nor Zoe wanted this break-up.
“But ever since he was on Les Terriens [the chat show] she has been bombarded with insulting messages from football fans, accusing her of tarnishing her father’s image.

“They ask her why she has refused to see him. But in fact she has suffered from his decision. It is all very unfair. She is a child who has suffered a lot.”
Zoe had written on Instagram: “Liar! Dad, how can you say you made a big mistake, insult my mother and make yourself out as the victim?
“Instead of lying to promote your new book, you should read your last text to me of 1 August 2017.
“You said you didn’t want to see me again, and wrote: ‘Good riddance.’ ”
