The Expendables 4 FIRST LOOK ‘Back in business with the main man’: Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham don black military ensembles as they are pictured on set for the first time

Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham looked ready-for-action as they posed alongside one another during the filming of The Expendables 4 on Wednesday.

On-set at an unknown location in England, the Hollywood stars beamed from ear-to-ear for a snap posted to Instagram by the Fast & Furious star, 54, on Tuesday.

Kitted up in the black military ensembles worn by their mercenary characters, they donned onyx berets hat and zip-up tank tops featuring multiple compartments.

Wow! It wasn’t long before movie icon Denzel Washington commented, ‘Yes,’ followed by two fire emojis

The starring pair layered the numbers below matching sweatshirts and loosely-fitted trousers before completing their costumes with charcoal leather boots.

The Rocky actor, 75, who sported a pair of black leather gloves, placed a loving hand on his pal’s shoulder as they both leant against a glossy black car.

‘Back in business with the main man @officialslystallone #expendables4,’ wrote Jason in his caption.

It wasn’t long before movie icon Denzel Washington commented, ‘Yes,’ followed by two fire emojis.

Sylvester recently jetted to the UK in order to work on the upcoming blockbuster, he revealed in a Saturday Instagram post.

‘In England to start working all the new expendables that also has the new cast members,’ he teased alongside a crisp-looking shot of himself posing within a mirrored tunnel.

The picture attracted the likes of Dolph, Harrison Ford, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, and more.

Newcomers to the fourth movie include Megan Fox, Andy Garcia, Tony Jaa, and 50 Cent.

2014’s third installment saw the Expendables face a new opponent – their co-founder Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who was set on finishing the group off.

Next up for the franchise is The Expendabelles, a spin-off that will consist of a primarily female cast.

According to TIME, producer Avi Lerner said of the upcoming film: ‘We are writing the final lines of the script [and] we’ve got lots of ideas about who is going to be in it.’
