Britney Spears appeared infuriated as she hit out at her family and one-time management team in a series of posts to her 42 million Instagram followers on Sunday.
The Grammy-winning singer, 40, illustrated how she feels she has been treated by her camp over the past 14 years, and even claimed that her security were able to see her naked within her own home as she changed clothes and showered.
And comparing herself to Jennifer Lopez, the Toxic singer explained that the Hustlers star would ‘never’ be treated in the same way she has been.
The latest: Britney Spears, 40, appeared to sound off on her family and her one-time management team in a series of social media posts she fired off Sunday. She was pictured last week
On 1 February 2008, Britney was involuntarily placed under a conservatorship by her father, Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew M Wallet after displaying erratic behaviour – before it was terminated by a judge in November 2021, after almost 14 years.
And taking to Instagram to detail the period of time, the singer attempted to get the point across that other musicians would not be treated as she has been, using Lopez as an example in the post.
She wrote: ‘I’d like to see somebody tell Jennifer Lopez to sit down eight hours a day seven days a week … no car. I’d like to see a management team tell Jennifer Lopez to go through what I went through … what the f*** do you think she would do … her family would NEVER allow that.’
Detailing some of the things that went on, Britney said her longtime security team was instructed to her her to remain indoors, and without a ‘door for privacy,’ was able to watch her ‘change naked and shower.’
‘After 14 years of telling me no to what I wanted … it’s ruined for me … but that wasn’t the worst part … the worst part was my family locking me up in that place for four months,’ she added.

Not worth it: The Lucky singer said she would ‘rather stay home and s*** in [her] f***ing pool than join the entertainment business,’ adding that ‘the truth is a f***ing b****’
The Toxic artist then said she was ‘abruptly’ taken off of medication she was ‘normally on’ and ‘drugged … on lithium.’
Beofre finishing that it had put her off the industry completely, admitting she would ‘rather stay home and s*** in [her] f***ing pool than join the entertainment business,’ adding that ‘the truth is a f***ing b****.’
Spears included a clip of her as she was working on laundry while singing the lyrics to her 1998 breakout hit …Baby One More Time, saying that she routinely performed remixes of her signature hits to give the audience something different every time.
‘The first three tours I ever did EACH song was a remix so the sound was new for my fans … it was what I was known for … for 13 years I wanted remixes to my songs during the conservatorship … to make the songs feel new,’ she said.
Painful period: Spears also added commentary about negative experiences at award shows
She said that she was rebuffed in her creative efforts during the timeframe she had a residency in Las Vegas.
‘The four years I did Vegas every six weeks I had off … I asked to be connected to producers that would create a cool sound … I was told no,’ she said.
Spears also added commentary about negative experiences at award shows – referncing her ex Justin Timberlake.
The two musicians dated between 1998 and 2002, after meeting when they were just 10 and 11 years old.

Mentioning him in one of the lengthy posts, Britney continued; ‘I went to a f***ing Disney tribute award show, put up four amazing vocalists doing exactly what I wanted to do for 14 years … short remixes of my five best songs for five minutes.
‘I think Justin Timberlake has had the longest performance at the VMAS seven MINUTES maybe more.
‘My children watched it and said “Mamma why did they do that?” They ruined it for me, embarrassed me, and made me feel like absolutely nothing.’
Earlier this month, Britney vented her frustrations about her sons, who she shares with Kevin Federline, – and continue to avoid her.
Painful time: Judge Brenda Penny ruled last November that a conservatorship placed on Britney Spears by her father Jamie (pictured) 13 years ago must now come to an end
Sadness: Spears had previously accused her sons of ‘abandoning her’ and ‘being hateful’ in a now deleted Instagram post
The star’s sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, have not seen their mother for nearly six months now, and even decided not to attend her June wedding to American-Iranian model Sam Asghari, their father previously revealed to DailyMail.com.
Federline said last month that the ‘boys have decided they are not seeing her right now,’ noting it has been a difficult few months for them since a judge ruled in November to end her 13-year conservatorship.
In the months since, Spears has taken advantage of her newfound freedom by posting almost nude selfies to Instagram, much to her sons’ disgust, Federline said.
Following these remarks, Spears accused her sons of ‘abandoning her’ and ‘being hateful’ in a now deleted Instagram post, after which Federline, 44, posted a video allegedly showing the singer ‘screaming’ at her sons when they were younger. That video has also now been removed.
Her loves: She revealed in an Instagram rant that she once saw her sons 70 percent of the time between the ages of six and nine
Prior to her father establishing a conservatorship, Britney suffered a well-publicized breakdown following her divorce to Federline. She was then only allowed to see her children in supervised visits under the condition she underwent random drug testing.
But after the conservatorship was established in 2008, she acquired shared custody again, and occasional snapshots of her with the boys over the years – beaming at the camera at a baseball match, celebrating birthday dinners, splashing around in a swimming pool – suggested a tender bond between mother and sons was forged.
But Federline was reportedly given 70 percent custody in 2019, with the children then stopping their overnight stays. Their monitors visits became less frequent, until they decided to stop visiting their mom earlier this year.
