Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to sell his current Gulfstream G200 private jet for sale because it was a bit cramped compared to the number of family members. In addition to this jet, CR7 also owns an aircraft of the same brand, the Gulfstream G650, which costs up to $65 million with all the luxury and modernity inside.
Gulfstream is an aircraft manufacturer favored by many world billionaires, such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Kim Kardashian…
The aircraft possesses the largest space in its segment with a cabin divided into 4 areas for meetings, dining, relaxation and entertainment.
In the entertainment area, passengers on the Gulfstream G650 can recline in a custom chair or catch up on the news of the day via the 42-inch flat-screen TV. The G650’s handcrafted seats are designed with comfort in mind to give passengers a stable seat to enjoy their long journeys. The chair can be converted into a bed for added versatility.
Gulfstream G650 has room for 18 people and 2,950 kg of luggage, can travel continuously 13,890 km without refueling with a maximum speed of 955 km / h and a cruise speed of 904 km / h. If departing from London at full speed, the Gulfstream G650 can fly nonstop to New York and Beijing. At slower speeds and more fuel economy, it can fly nonstop to Buenos Aires and Los Angeles.
Gulfstream aerodynamic wings increase speed, range and efficiency. Fly-by-wire technology creates a comfortable flight. The company also developed advanced sound suppression techniques to improve the noise-free, or possibly quietest, cabin experience in its class.
The plane has 16 large windows to maximize natural light. The clean air system of Gulfstream in general and G650 in particular always makes passengers comfortable with fresh air. Specifically, every two to three minutes, the ionization technology neutralizes allergens and viruses present in the cabin.
As of now, there are 208 G650s in operation worldwide. The new plane has a list price of $65 million, but if it’s a used plane, it could be around $39 million.
This aircraft project won the 2014 Collier Trophy for its contribution to “strengthening the aviation business with technological advancements in aircraft performance and in-cabin comfort and safety”. Currently, the aircraft has been discontinued when there are newer versions of the G650ER and G700. Photo: Gulfstream
