The Mandalorian season 3, episode 6 was jammed-packed with different cameos; however, one was hard to catch, and it has an MCU connection.

The Mandalorian season 3, episode 6 provided many cameos; however, one has ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that was hard to spot. Marvel and Star Wars have shared actors in the past, with Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford, set to make his MCU debut in Captain America: New World Order – so a minor cameo isn’t that surprising. With all of the practical effects and CGI that are incorporated to create different species in Star Wars, it’s easy to disguise actors so that they are nearly unrecognizable.

While the episode centered around Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze taking a side mission to Plazir-15 to recruit Bos old allies, many side characters popped up, ultimately making the episode enjoyable. All three of the main cameos by Lizzo, Jack Black, and Christopher Lloyd were pleasant surprises and truly set the tone for the episode. While minor, these characters also allowed audiences to further see the failings of the New Republic, and why certain planets, like Plazir-15, choose to remain neutral. But they weren’t the only cameos in the episode… there is another.

The Mon Calamari Nobleman Was Played by Harry Holland

The beginning of The Mandalorian season 3, episode 6 showed a group of Mandalorians, led by Axe Woves, intercepting a Quarren ship that had a Mon Calamari Nobleman aboard. The actor who played the Nobleman was none other than Harry Holland, the younger brother to Spider-Man actor Tom Holland. While it was only a brief scene, it was established that Holland’s character had left Mon Cala because he and the Quarren Captain had fallen in love.

Because of the practical makeup, Holland’s face was not visible, and he could only be identified by the credits at the end of the episode. Additionally, Holland is 24 years old, and the actress who played his love interest, Christine Adams (Black Lightning), is 48. It’s unclear if those ages are reflected in their characters, but it explains the Quarren Captain’s mature nature relative to the helplessness of the Mon Calamari.

Where You Can Find Harry Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Harry Holland made a cameo in his brother Tom’s film Spider-Man: No Way Home as a robber who gets caught by Spider-Man. Harry’s robber is apprehended on the streets of Queens and dangles from his feet as Spider-Man fights off yells from a crowd heckling him for killing Mysterio. It is also the scene where someone throws green paint on Spider-Man, which eventually forces him to turn the suit inside-out later in the film. The scene was deleted in the film’s initial theatrical release, but was added in the Spider-Man: No Way Home – More Fun Stuff rerelease.

In an episode that featured many high-profile cameos, The Mandalorian season 3, episode 6 managed to surprise with a smaller one. Harry Holland is the latest actor to make the jump between Marvel and Star Wars, even if both roles are cameos. This does however show that Harry is serious about moving into larger roles, and not just serving as an extra or making brief appearances in his brother’s films. It’s unlikely that Holland’s Mon Calamari Nobleman will return in The Mandalorian season 3, buta return for the character down the road isn’t off the table.
