A facial plastic surgeon in the UK has scientifically proven the most handsome celebrity male in the world, with Chris Hemsworth coming in second.
Scientific research has proven that Marvel Cinematic Universe star Chris Hemsworth is only the second most handsome man in the world.
A study by UK facial plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva looked at male celebrities worldwide and compared their features to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty, which mathematically measures physical perfection. According to the study, Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page comes the closest to the Golden Ratio with 93.65% accuracy to the equation. Hemsworth came in a hair behind him with 93.53%, while Michael B. Jordan closely followed at 93.46%.
Actors Who Fit the Golden Ratio
Other celebrities who ranked in the top ten include Harry Styles, English football star Jude Bellingham, Robert Pattinson, Chris Evans, George Clooney, Henry Golding and Dwayne Johnson. According to Dr. Silva, “These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.” Despite the claim, many commenters on the Instagram posts disagreed with the report’s findings.
Page gained massive recognition after his starring role in Bridgerton Season 1 as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, and love interest to Daphne Bridgerton. Based on Julia Quinn’s book The Duke & I, the first season sees the pair fake a romantic interest in one another in order for Simon to avoid women vying for his affection and so Daphne can appear more desirable to the other bachelors of the ton. Page’s lack of return in Bridgerton Season 2 and insistence that he won’t reprise his role for the show caused disappointment among the show’s fanbase.

Chris Hemsworth Tests His Limits
Meanwhile, Hemsworth recently starred in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder, which saw the titular character reconnect with lost love Jane Foster after she became The Mighty Thor. The actor also appeared in the Disney+ series, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, which followed his experiences as he tested out physical challenges while looking at methods to help live longer and better. Among his discoveries included the realization that he had a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease, something the actor called his “biggest fear.”
While Page won’t return for Bridgerton, the actor stars in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which comes out March 31. Hemsworth next appears in Extraction 2, which comes out June 16, 2023.
