The actress plays ill-fated Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s 60s thriller, set for release next year
MARGOT Robbie was spotted wearing a pregnancy suit on the set of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood yesterday.
The actress, 28, appears as ill-fated actress Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s new thriller, which co-stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The I, Tonya star showed off her fake bump in a bright yellow mini dress as she filmed a number of seemingly tense scenes on set.
Joined by co-star Emile Hirsch, the actress was seen cradling her bump and ranting at a co-star, before fiercely flicking her hair as she waltzed off in the dramatic moment.
Earlier that day, co-star Brad had been seen filming his own scenes in a retro black and white car on the Burbank Boulevard.
The 54-year-old looked cooler than ever in a bright yellow shirt and Aviator shades as he talked through the scenes with the director before heading for a coffee as his stunt double stepped in.
Once Upon A Time is Tarantino’s hotly-tipped new project, following the success of The Hateful Eight in 2015.
The film is a semi-fictional interpretation of sixties Hollywood, and tells the story of the murder of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and her three friends by the Manson family.
Leonardo plays Rick Dalton, a fading former star of a western TV series, while Brad plays his stunt double, Cliff Booth.
Meanwhile Margot takes on the role of Sharon herself, who is living next door to Rick when she is killed by the cult leader while pregnant with filmmaker Roman Polanski’s child.
The director has said little about his new film, but told crowds at CinemaCon that it was “probably the closest to Pulp Fiction that he’s done” back in April.
Margot, Leo and Brad are joined by a star-studded cast list, including Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino and Lena Dunham.
The film will be released in July 16, 2019, just shy of the 50th anniversary of Tate’s murder back in 1969.
