KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new Patrick Mahomes shoe color is out – and it honors the Kansas City Chiefs’ neighbors at the Truman Sports Complex.
Adidas released the Mahomes 1 Royal Blue 80 on Thursday.
The shoe, in Royal blue, celebrates the start of the 2023 Kansas City Royals season.
“Royal Blue 80,” Mahomes posted on Instagram. “A new season starts today on the other side of the parking lot.”

The two-time Super Bowl MVP joined the Royals ownership group in the summer of 2020.
