Margot Robbie detailed the improvised kisses with Brad Pitt and Katherine Waterson in Babylon which had everyone talking.
The 32-year-old Australian actress – who talked about the improvised smooch last month – gave a little more context behind the smack downs in a new cover story interview in the latest edition of W Magazine.
As she previously revealed that her kiss with 58-year-old Brad was not on script, she said that it was in the nature of her character Nellie LaRoy to share the love.

Opening up: As she previously revealed that her kiss with 58-year-old Brad was not on script, she said that it was in the nature of her character Nellie LaRoy to share the love
She was asked about her first on-camera Kiss as she replied: ‘I can’t remember…but in Babylon, Nellie kisses a lot of people. I actually improvised a kiss that wasn’t in the script.
‘We were doing a party scene, and Nellie goes up to Brad Pitt’s character and Katherine Waterston’s character, and I was like, “F*** it. I’m just gonna kiss them and see what happens.”
‘They were a little bit shocked. I don’t know if it made it into the movie.’

Last month Margot had confessed to being responsible for a show-stopping kiss with Brad in the American epic period comedy-drama film.
The actress, who plays an unhinged starlet taking advantage of every debauched opportunity in 1920s-era Hollywood, revealed to E! News that the kiss wasn’t part of the original screenplay by director Damien Chazelle.
Instead, the Wolf Of Wall Street star proposed the kiss with Pitt as a chance to check off a major bucket list desire.

‘That wasn’t in the script,’ Margot explained, ‘but I thought, “When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’m just gonna go for it.”‘
Asked for her reaction to the kiss, she let out a laugh and said, ‘It was great!’
The blond beauty explained how she sold Chazelle, who won the Best Director Academy Award for his hit Hollywood musical La La Land, on adding in a kiss between her and Brad.
‘I said, “Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack,”‘ she continued. ‘And Damien was like, “Well, she could — wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt.”

Got her! ‘I said, “Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack,”‘ she continued. ‘And Damien was like, “Well, she could — wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt”‘; still from Babylon
Going for it: ‘And I was like, “Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again,”‘ she continued. ‘And he was like, “It does work for the character,” and I was like, “I think so”‘; still from Babylon

Although she thought of the kiss almost as a lark, Chazelle was convinced it was the right move after the first take — so he made he repeat it.
‘He was like, “No, do it again. That really works,”‘ she said with a laugh. ‘I was like, “Oh, great.”‘
Margot revealed later in the interview that Brad wasn’t the only star she kissed while filming Babylon.
‘I actually kissed Katherine [Waterston] as well,’ she shared, ‘but I don’t know if that made the cut.’

Margot didn’t just talk about Babylon – which was released on December 23 – in her W Magazine interview as she talked about how she doesn’t exactly relate to her astrological sign.
She said: ‘I’m a Cancer. But I don’t really identify as a Cancer, to be honest with you. Everything I’ve ever heard about Cancers doesn’t sound like me: that they’re very sensitive, wear their emotions on their sleeve, and are real homebodies.
‘I hate being at home, I’m not particularly sensitive, and I don’t really wear my emotions on my sleeve. And I’ve checked and double-checked my rising signs and all that kind of stuff, and it’s all Cancer. I think I’m, like, triple Cancer. I even checked with my mum that she didn’t get my birth date wrong, which she was very offended by. I think I’m more of a Gemini, maybe.’
