A pregnant woman shared on her personal Instagram account her ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴀɪɴᴛ about the ᴏꜰꜰᴇɴsɪᴠᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴇɴᴛs she receives. The reason: is her big belly, which, although she is expecting only one baby, looks like she is expecting… four!

A week before her son’s arrival, Eliana Rodriguez shared just some of the teasing comments she’s been getting from strangers about her massive baby bump. The most common is that she is stopped on the street and pointed out “how huge” she is, which bothers her a lot.

Many, in fact, especially on social media, wondered if she was sure that she was expecting only one baby and not triplets, while some others treated her with pity for the size of her belly, asking her again and again if she was in ᴘᴀɪɴ.

After her post, however, she found the support she was looking for after several pointed out that no one has the right to comment on a pregnant woman’s belly, whether it is small or big. At the same time, she found several sympathizers who have been in her position and agreed with her.

One Instagram user wrote: “Twins or not twins, no one should ʜᴀʀsʜʟʏ ᴊᴜᴅɢᴇ or ɴᴇɢᴀᴛɪᴠᴇʟʏ ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴇɴᴛ about a woman’s pregnant belly… different women are built differently.”

“It’s so annoying isn’t it, I’ve noticed people saying this to almost every pregnant woman… There’s a whole baby in there. What do they expect?” wrote another.

Eliana has posted another reel saying: “My husband weighed 10lbs when he was born. Guess how much our son weighed?”

“The baby is going to walk out,” replied one commenter.

The pregnant woman said that when her husband was born, he weighed almost 10lbs, so she expects that her son will also be a big baby. With this comment, in fact, she responded to those who argued that her belly is so big that it is a Photoshop product.

Eliana has since announced that her son, Sebastian, was born via an emergency C-sᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ on June 11. Despite the size of Eliana’s baby bump, Sebastian weighed just 8lbs 3oz and was 20.5 inches in length when he was born.

Eliana isn’t the only mum to face strange comments about her baby bump. One TikToker shared that her bump was so big that some people thought it was fake. Another woman says she was ashamed of the appearance of her post-pregnancy belly after she’d just given birth to twins.
