The event was first teased several days ago by the Japanese One Piece Twitter account with cryptic photos, and has now been officially announced. The One Piece News stream will be held on March 28 at:

The Netflix live action could get its first true trailer
Initially, the March 28 reveal was teased while real-life photos, hinting that it was related to the upcoming One Piece Live-Action series with Netflix. The main cast of actors and actresses have been revealed and it included not only the Straw Hat Pirates but iconic early One Piece villains like Arlong. Giving us a good idea of what will be adapted in this series.
However, Netflix as of now has never published an actual trailer with the characters in action. It’s very likely the first trailer for the One Piece Netflix live-action will be revealed at this One Piece News stream. Moreover seeing several Japanese actors and actresses will be on stream it’s likely they will reveal the Japanese dub cast of the live-action series.
Shanks movie trailer, release date predictions
Furthermore, we could also get a new trailer for the One Piece Film Red directed by Code Geass’ Goro Taniguchi. One Piece Film Red was among the teasers shared in the countdown to the March 28 event. New story details on the movie should be introduced, including Shanks’ role in the movie. One Piece Film Red will be out on August 6 in Japan but has no release date worldwide so we could hear one at the event too. Probably for October or November 2022, as anime movies take around 2 to 3 months to come over nowadays.
New game and merch
Every One Piece fan is awaiting anime and live-action news, but technically, the official description for the stream on YouTube also states new goods and merch will be announced, and that it’ll have game-related announcements too. It’s been a few years now since the release of One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, so perhaps a brand new One Piece game for consoles will be announced at the event.
