Bronny James is the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, and there’s no doubt that he’s already gotten a lot of hype even before he has gone to college. Many are excited to see him in the league.
Though traditionally a lot of prospects play college basketball before the NBA, in the modern era, we have seen a number of prospects take alternative routes, such as going overseas. Kevin Durant has recently stated that he’d like to see Bronny James go to college rather than take those routes,
“I would love to see Bronny in college instead of taking the other route,” said Durant. “I wanna see Bronny hoop, I wanna be in real-time, see what he’s doing, and follow his journey.”
There is no doubt that seeing Bronny James in college would be awesome for both college basketball and NBA fans. The college atmosphere would allow him to improve his stock ahead of the draft, and perhaps we could even see Bronny James get picked in the late lottery.
As of right now, Bronny James is already a five-star recruit in high school. He seems to be on the right path, and we’ll see what college he ends up going to. Picking the right school is extremely important, but James is also talented enough to thrive wherever he goes.
LeBron James Thinks Bronny James Is Already Better Than Some Players In The NBA
There is no doubt that there are many who are high on how Bronny James will do in the league. His father LeBron James is definitely among those people, and he has even claimed that Bronny is already better than some players in the league.
“Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. Shit lightweight hilarious,” said LeBron James.
Of course, Bronny James will have to get to the league to prove how good he is. However, he definitely has a solid skillset and has been a good shooter and defender at the high school level.
Bronny James’ play at the college level will allow analysts and draft experts to more accurately evaluate how well he is going to do at the NBA level. However, there have already been signs of Bronny potentially being a decent NBA player already at the high school level, and hopefully, we see him play at a high level in college.
