“Secret Journey to Planet Serpo,” written by Len Kasten, is based on actual events. A gigantic extraterrestrial spaceship from the Zeta Reticuli star system arrived in Las Vegas in 1965. You may have heard of this location because it is known as Area 51. Kennedy devised “Project Crystal Knight,” which consisted of a human-for-Serpo exchange program. Ebens, the extraterrestrial visitors, had arrived to welcome 12 people onboard their spaceship for a one-year stay on their planet Serpo.
Antigravity spaceships were used to travel at the speed of light and navigate through wormholes on the way to Serpo. However, a pilot died unexpectedly on the voyage.
The team lost track of time after 24 months on the planet and ended up remaining for another three years. The Ebens were quite kind during the journey and shared a great deal of knowledge. In 1978, just seven members of the crew returned to Earth.
The specifics of “Project Crystal Knight” were meticulously chronicled in “The Final Report,” and are now public knowledge.
