Anne Hathaway celebrated her 36th birthday on Monday.
And what better way to start your big day then to wish yourself, and leading man Ryan Gosling, a happy birthday on Instagram.
‘Happy Birthday to me and Ryan Gosling #36,’ Hathaway jokingly captioned in a shirtless photo of Gosling, circa 2011, from his film Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Gosling turned 38 on Monday.

To put things in perspective: the scene where Gosling takes off his shirt in the romantic comedy has been much talked about since it’s release seven years ago.
In it, Gosling’s co-star Emma Stone asks him to take off his shirt off during a moment of nervousness during their courtship. Once off, her character gets a glimpse of his six-pack abs and famously replies: ‘F***, seriously, it’s like your photoshopped.’
Over the years Gosling has turned to humor to stave off questions about his famously chiseled body in the movie.

Hathaway last starred in Ocean’s 8 which has grossed nearly $297million at the box office since it’s release in June 2018.
She has three new films in the can which includes the neo-noir thriller Serenity co-starring Mathew McConaughey, as well as the comedy The Hustle and the political thriller The Last Thing He Wanted, which are both in post-production.
Most recently, Gosling stars as astronaut Neil Armstrong in the 2018 film First Man. It has raked-in nearly $94million since it premiered in the US October 12.
