This amazing encounter between a mother rhino and a much larger elephant occurred when the latter attempted to drive the rhino couple away from a watering site. An interventional cardiologist from Iɴᴅɪᴀ named Krishna Tummalapalli captured the clip at the Kruger National Park in Sᴏᴜᴛʜ Aғʀɪᴄᴀ.
When an elephant approached the rhino and her young, they were sipping water from the pond. The older rhino immediately approached the elephant and assumed an intimidating stance. The elephant appeared to become incensed as he charged the rhino right away. As the two adults wrestled, the baby rhino fell in between them and screamed.
The little rhino eventually managed to flee the conflict. The mother rhino was also able to escape after being submerged in water by the elephant, leading its youngster away from the area. However, the drama didn’t end there as the elephant gave chase and briefly pursued the rhinos.
Krishna said that her family anh she had been looking forward to seeing Africa for a while, and it didn’t let them down. They visited the Kruger National Park, and on their second day of safari, at Shishangeni Lodge, about 5 in the afternoon, she was able to take this video ᴄʟᴏsᴇ to the drinking hole.
Let’s watch the video:
